The individual in this position is primarily responsible for the successful execution of ACA Aponix client engagements, and ongoing client support services and satisfaction with ACA Aponix services. The individual in this position is also responsible for the development of ACA Aponix client relationships and incoming or junior ACA Aponix staff.


Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead client calls to plan engagements and establish expectations, and, following completion of engagements, to present findings and provide analysis
  • Analyze client and vendor documents relating to information security, IT infrastructure, and development
  • Conduct on-site or remote client interviews, office and system inspections, network scanning, and other on-site or remote analysis as required for client engagements
  • Conduct  in-person and remote information security trainings for client staff
  • Research technology solutions and develop written solutions landscapes on product offerings
  • Manage client relationships and supervise, train, develop and/or oversee junior staff, as assigned 
  • Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives


  • Bachelor’s Degree required – major or concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field preferred; alternatively, three years of information security, information technology, or development experience required preferred
  • Strong hands-on technology expertise in at least one technology domain (e.g. infrastructure, development, or information security)
  • Ability to train and supervise small groups or individuals
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Demonstrated professional integrity
  • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks
  • Dedicated to upholding ACA’s high-quality standards and customer service focus
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
  • Willing to undertake up to 50% travel
  • Available for client work and/or travel Monday through Friday on a general basis, including nights and occasional weekends.
