Lead Technical Analyst

Position Objective:
 
The individual in this position is responsible for providing expert knowledge regarding technical solutions for modification and implementation of AML compliance, surveillance and regulatory risk programs. The individual in this position is also responsible for driving AML software solutions that will meet clients’ changing business needs.
 
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Perform Actimize AML solution – SAM, CDD implementation, configurations and upgrades
• Analyze new processes and system data and business requirements and convert them into technical solutions for configurations and enhancements on Actimize AML solutions
• Create data mapping between banking source systems to Actimize data structure
• Create test cases and test data and participate in the testing process for the AML solutions
• Lead technical teams and contribute to ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects and solutions
• Create documentations required for production migration of Actimize solutions – production deployment plan, deployment instructions as well as support production migration and resolve issues
• Proactively attend to various aspects of client engagements by, among other things, attending meetings, providing status reports, communicating variances
• Supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to junior colleagues
• Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives
 
Qualifications: 
Summary of Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required with computer science, information technology or similar major/field of study
• Minimum of 4 years of financial banking industry experience, with at least 2 years of experience on implementation and upgrades of any one of the Actimize AML solutions –SAM, CDD, WLF
• Minimum of 2 years of strong experience on SQL Server or Oracle Databases
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of programming languages preferred
• Knowledge of federal laws related to BSA/AML, sanctions compliance or regulatory risk preferred
• Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance
• Demonstrated professional integrity
• Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients

• Dedicated to upholding ACA’s high quality standards and customer service focus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
• Willing to travel up to 15% but may exceed based on business needs
• Available for client work and/or travel Monday through Friday on a general basis, including occasional nights and weekends
