ACA Compliance Group is pleased to announce that one of its most experienced consultants, Kenny Clowers, is permanently relocating to the Bay Area to oversee the continued growth and expansion of ACA’s West Coast practice, while continuing to provide ACA’s clients with a range of regulatory compliance services.
Kenny joined ACA in August 2014 as a Senior Principal Consultant and works with investment advisers, hedge fund managers, and private equity firms on a variety of complex and nuanced regulatory compliance issues. Prior to joining ACA, Kenny worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C. for nearly 10 years. During his time at the SEC, he served as an Examination Manager and Securities Compliance Examiner/Staff Accountant. He led and participated in investment adviser compliance examinations involving numerous asset classes, investment strategies, client types, and investment vehicles. Kenny also participated in thematic reviews and risk-targeted sweeps of private fund and retail investment advisers and of investment companies.
Earlier in his career, Kenny worked for State Street Corporation in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Senior Accountant, where he oversaw a team of fund accountants responsible for processing securities trading, settlement, and corporate actions activity, as well as daily NAV calculations.
